Bringing Christ
into the Home

Inspired by the example of the Holy Family, My Little Nazareth books and blog help build up domestic churches. Practicing devotional and liturgical living in the ordinary Catholic home creates a bright and inspiring light for the entire Catholic Church. Let us aspire to raise the next generation of Saints!

“When I think of Christian homes, I like to imagine them as being full of the light and joy that was in the home of the Holy Family.”

How do I help my children become Saints?

Celebrate the Mass

Understanding the Mass and making it the center of our lives is the most important aspect of living the Catholic Faith. Helping our children study the Mass gives them the opportunity to partake in the greatest prayers of the Church and bring all of their daily prayers and sacrifices to the Lord. Our children must have a firm belief that the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Our Lord–and that belief and reverence is firmly placed in their hearts in our homes.

Liturgical and Devotional Living

Developing a liturgical and devotional rhythm in our homes is a great blessing to family life. The ebb and flow of the year is orchestrated by Mother Church. The great feasts and fasts are taught through our example and enthusiasm for receiving the customs and traditions that generations before us have celebrated themselves. Favorite family Saints and devotional practices daily ground us and remind us of our true destiny in heaven.

Ordinary Acts of Love

Family life is plum full of opportunities to love. Though many of them are lost because of our fallen nature, there is always another chance to redeem ourselves just around the corner. Noticing and reflecting on the little things that show love for each other in the home brings our sacrifices to the foot of the Cross, where love Himself is found.
